Clcik to view image album. You are bidding on an vintage ricardo western cowboy spurs wwii w/straps1940s. During the early 1940s, all steel went to the war effort so these were made of aluminum, so ive read. They come with, what i believe, are the original leather bsaket weave straps.
The are dry and kinda cracked. When i put leather new on them and they soaked it up rapidly. hTe straps can easily be used and probably for a long time. The aluminum could be cleaned up nicely but i didnt want to do that and mess something up. The rowels are 1 ¾ inches and have 9 points.
The back rowel sticks out 2 5/8 from the heel. The heel inside slopes like your boto slopes and slightly more in the back.
The heel opening is 2 15/16 inches at the widest part and 2 5/8 at the bottom. I have yet to have any international shipment lost, but they are slow. Also, it is very expencive to ship to anywhere except north america. oS be prepared.
